Parma, Colak and Cobbaut out. There could be room for both in the UK

The Parma Gazette Today on newsstands focuses on the situations of Antonio Colak and Elias Cobbauth. The first trains with the team, the second alone, but both are out of mister Pecchia’s technical project. And so the best solution for everyone is being sought. Some inquiries have reportedly arrived from the Championship, the English Serie B, which Parma is evaluating together with the two players. A placement will have to be found in the coming weeks.

On Friday, news spread of interest from Germany – and in particular from Bochum – for Antonio Colak, who is coming off a less than stellar season with Parma. This interest seems even more concrete in light of the Croatian striker’s non-call-up for Saturday’s match against Antwerp. The impression is that the striker’s transfer could be concluded very soon.

Parma is waiting for the right offer to release Cobbaut. The Belgian defender arrived in Parma on loan in the summer of 2021, and was then redeemed the following year for a figure around 3 million. The club’s goal is to sell him for figures as close as possible to the amount invested a few summers ago, but at the moment this does not seem a foregone conclusion. According to some rumors coming from Belgium, Mechelen would like to bring Cobbaut home, but the operation seems impossible at the moment for economic reasons. In the meantime, Cobbaut has returned to Italy and is training separately at the Mutti Training Center in Collecchio, as can be seen from his Instagram profile. The defender is waiting for news from his agent and from Parma, who hopes to cash in on his transfer.
