The former sporting director of Roma, Walter Sabatiniwanted to wish Roma a happy birthday on the day of the celebrations for the 97th anniversary of its foundation. His message was published via a story Instagram on the former manager’s profile, accompanied by a photo of his experience as a Roma player and one as sporting director:
“She hit me and hurt me. I was a football acrobat for her. Stress, jet lag trips. I smoked 60 Marlboros a day. I played my lungs. But I would do it all again. Nothing works normally in Rome, but I’m proud of my years in Giallorossi. Happy birthday Magica.”
