Deschamps ironically responds to a Swedish reporter: “If you get bored, watch something else”

Didier Deschamps uses irony to answer a question at a press conference. Questioned by a Swedish colleague, the French coach spoke about his national team’s game, which is not particularly brilliant. In his homeland, in fact, people often talk about how the Bleus do not play great games, especially when they have to create dangerous moves. It is no coincidence that of the three goals scored so far, two are own goals and one was scored by Kylian Mbappé from a penalty kick.

And speaking on the eve of the semi-final against Spain, the French coach analyzed his team’s current situation, responding in kind (albeit jokingly) to those who pointed out to him how this talented national team has a rather boring game:

“If you’re bored, watch something else! It’s not necessary! It’s a special European Championship, where the matches are very difficult for everyone – the former Juventus midfielder underlined -. The number of goals is much lower than in the past. But we have the ability to share emotions, to make the French happy with the results we’ve managed to achieve, in a difficult period for France. If the Swedes are bored, I don’t care much (laughs)”.
