Virtus Acquaviva announces a new signing. And it does so on the eve of its debut in the Champions League, which will be tomorrow night in the first round against Steaua. It is Federico Piovaccariformer striker of Cittadella and Sampdoria among others. Federico Piovaccari, a globetrotting striker who has decided to embrace the black-green cause, joins the European adventure.
The Gallarate-born striker has experience in Spain, China, Australia and is also a former player of our opponents, with whom he played in 2013-14, when the official name was still Steaua Bucharest. Piovaccari already knows the Republic of Titano, given that in 2005-06 he wore the jersey of San Marino Calcio, also playing an excellent season with 11 goals. From there he took flight for his great career, which led him to score about 150 goals in total”.
