After three seasons, in which he made 76 appearances with ten goals, winning one Scudetto, two Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups, Julia Gross there is the return to North America. The Canadian midfielder has in fact signed a three-year contract with the Chicago Red Stars, a club of the National Women’s Soccer League (the top North American league) and will join the team at the end of the Paris Olympics in which she will participate with her national team.

“I am thrilled to join this club and can’t wait to get out there every weekend and give it my all,” the 2000-born player told the US club’s website. “I’ve heard that the Chicago Red Star fans are super passionate, so I’m thrilled to be a part of it. I can’t wait to play alongside the talented players for the rest of the season and beyond.”
