Calafiori to Arsenal, Bologna pressing for Mats Hummels: here’s how much he’s asking

With Riccardo Calafiori now one step away from Arsenal for around 50 million euros, the Bologna is on the market looking for a central defender to whom he can entrust the keys to the defense in view of the next season that will see the rossoblù protagonists also in the Champions League. As reported by the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ on newsstands today, the market man Giovanni Sartori is currently pressing for Mats Hummelsexperienced German defender currently a free agent after his contract with Borussia Dortmund expired.

Hummels, who has also been evaluated by Roma in recent weeks, is asking for a two-year contract worth around three million euros net per year. An important request, which Sartori and Di Vaio are evaluating to understand whether or not it is worth making a proposal that is up to the demands of the German centre-back. In the meantime, however, other names are also being evaluated at Bologna: one of these is Clement Lengletborn in 1995, French central defender for Barcelona who played on loan at Aston Villa last season.

Finally, another name that Bologna is evaluating for the defense is that of Jaka Bijol: the Slovenian centre-back owned by Udinese is coming off a good European Championship and has a transfer market valuation of around 20 million euros.
