In an interview given to ASthe technical commissioner of Spain Louis De La Fuente he spoke about the danger of Mbappé and the French players: “Against players of these characteristics, who have so many qualities, as with Dembélé, the help of everyone is important. It’s the only way, in addition to maintaining balance. The other day I told Lamine (Yamal, ed.), that if there are three players in attack there will be an area of the pitch where we will have superiority. And we will have to bring the ball there; and not through the midfield. You have to bring the ball quickly. This is also interpreting the matches. We will therefore have to provide help, but also be aware of being strong in some areas of the pitch”.
De la Fuente continued: “We are a family here and it’s like a normal house. There are days with more laughter and others with less. There are sad moments, like Pedri’s injury. The team has suffered a lot, but overcoming it helps to strengthen this group that is a rock… We are a family and I am proud to see people so committed.”
