Inter want a centre-back and are targeting Kim Min-jae on loan with an option to buy

Inter on the attack for Kim Min-jae. The Nerazzurri club is looking for a central defender for next season and – as reported in the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ on newsstands today – they have set their sights on the South Korean central defender formerly of Napoli who did not perform well in his first season at Bayern Munich. For the Bavarian club, Kim is already considered to be on his way out and, now, the Milanese club is aiming for the possibility of purchasing him on a loan with an option to buy.

However, everything will depend on the exit of Stefan de Vrij, the centre-back currently busy at the European Championship with Holland. The former Lazio central defender who is tied to Inter by another year of contract has received some inquiries from Saudi Arabia: nothing concrete yet, but if an offer were to arrive Marotta and Ausilio would take it into consideration in order to make room for the giant born in ’96 who needed just one season in Naples to be elected best defender in Serie A.

“I have a one-year contract and an option, I still see myself at Inter”, Sterfan De Vrij said in recent days. On the same wavelength, in the last few hours, also his agent Federico Pastorello: “Negotiations with Al-Ittihad? They are just rumours. Now he is focused on Euro 2024”.
