Pedri responds to Kroos, the German snubs Germany. Will he stay in Spain?

The day after the defeat against Spain at Euro 2024, which cost his Germany the elimination, Toni Kroos he said goodbye to football with a letter on his social profiles, also apologizing to Peterthe Spanish midfielder who had to leave the pitch in the quarter-final match after less than 8 minutes, due to an injury caused by his own foul: “It is still very important for me to apologise to Pedri and wish him a speedy recovery. Obviously, it was not my intention to hurt you. I wish you a speedy recovery and all the best. You are a great player”.

Pedri’s response.
The young Spaniard, almost 24 hours later, responded to the message sent by Kroos himself, without condemning the opposing midfielder: “I came to Germany for Euro2024 and I will stay here, until the end. Because the dream, I have no doubt, continues. This is the moment to encourage and contribute in another way to this great family that is La Roja. Your support and that of all of you is incredible. The most difficult moment is over and now the road back begins, to soon regain full strength with FC Barcelona. Thank you Toni Kroos for your message. This is football and these things happen. Your career and your record will last forever. I just want to say one more thing. Forza Spain”.

Kross snubs Germany.
Now a new life will begin for Toni Kroos, after a fantastic career, but it will probably not be in his country, given the rather harsh words he had about how Germany has changed in recent years: “I still think Germany is a great country. We really enjoy being there, but at least it is not the Germany of the past, as it was perhaps ten years ago. But if they asked me if I would prefer my daughter to go out at 11pm in Spain or in a big German city, I would say Spain. She probably wouldn’t have so many problems, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t problems in Spain.”
