The newspaper dedicates ample space to the future of the coach who will soon sign the new agreement with the club on Viale della Liberazione: “Club and coach continue until 2026: white smoke coming soon. Saturday the start in Appiano, Acerbi will also be there”, we read.
The parties have therefore found an agreement, with the Piacenza coach who has accepted the renewal until 2026 and not 2027, as requested in the early stages of the negotiation. “His salary will increase, as is logical for the coach who has achieved the Scudetto and a star after a championship that was simply overwhelming: the approximately 6.5 million that he will earn will make Inzaghi the highest paid coach in Serie A, excluding bonuses”, the newspaper reiterates.
Once an agreement has been reached, the new season will begin. Inzaghi will find an Inter team that has been significantly slimmed down by the European Championship, the America’s Cup and holidays, but he will have the opportunity to work with the reinforcements that have landed in Milan in recent days: at the training camp he will have Taremi and Joseph Martinez, who arrived from Genoa for a fee of around 15 million euros, at his disposal. The foundations have been laid, all that is awaited is the official start of the new season.
