Out of the Bundesliga, a new adventure for Asano: he has signed a two-year contract with Mallorca

The Real Mallorca has made the new purchase official Takuma Asanocoming from VfL Bochum. The Japanese right winger, born in ’94, arrives via a free transfer from a Bundesliga club and signs for two seasons to play in LaLiga, at the Son Moix stadium.

The 29-year-old arrives in the Balearics after spending the last three seasons with the German club. Last season he was an important player, playing 29 games and scoring 6 goals.

Asano becomes the fourth Japanese player in the club’s history. The first to open the list was Yoshito Okubo in 2005, who was joined by Akihiro Ienaga and Takefusa Kubo.

Asano is a regular presence at the Japanese National Teamwith whom he played one World Cup and wore the jersey 52 times. Asano also played for Hannover 96 and VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, as well as Partizan in Serbia.
