Frosinone, rediscovering the “Stirpe” factor: the home victory has been missing for three months now

Rediscover the strength of the “Stirpe”. Frosinone is more than ever embroiled in the fight not to be relegated and the match against Salernitana could represent an important turning point in this final rush of the season. Eusebio Di Francesco’s team, after an excellent start, is going through a moment of great difficulty and now the ranking is starting to worry. The Ciociaria yellow-blues are in third-to-last place in the standings with 28 points, +2 from second-to-last Sassuolo and this evening’s match against Salernitana becomes decisive. If successful, they could receive an important injection of confidence for the last four races.

Two months without a win at home
To reach salvation, however, you need to score points in front of your audience. In fact, Soulé and his teammates haven’t won within friendly walls since last January 21st when, at 12.30 pm, Cagliari was defeated 3-1. Among other things, that is the only time in which the Lazio players have taken home the entire stake in the calendar year. Since then, only five points have come from as many draws.

The trend at home
At home then came a defeat against Milan on 4 February, another against Roma on 18 February, a draw against Lecce on 3 March, a knockout against Lazio on 16 March and a draw against Frosinone on 7 April . The two points collected in as many away matches against Naples and Turin can be a good springboard to finally reach the full spoils.
