Pact between Conceicao and Porto: the future after the final. Milan is looking for a midfielder

We loved each other so much, but also not. Sergio Conceicao remains a credible candidate for the bench Milanthanks to the not exactly simple relationship with André Villas-Boas. The current coach of Port he in fact supported the re-election of former president Pinto da Costa and not that of Special Two. Consequently, the contract renewal until 2028, recently made official, can be dissolved by both and the feeling is that in the end, however, we will go in this direction.

End of season pact. In the recent meeting, he writes La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two have thus made a sort of pact: the future will only be discussed at the end of the season, after the Portuguese Cup final scheduled for 26 May against Sporting CP of Lisbon. Thus, the former Inter and Lazio midfielder focuses on the competition, and waits for signs from Milan. The agreement with the Rossoneri, for the record, would not be a big problem.

Milan changes. In the meantime, the Rossoneri management is already looking for players, in addition to the center forward, suited to Conceiçao’s game. Not very far in the schemes (4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2) from Pioli’s, but in the interpretation yes. In particular, a physical midfielder would be needed to protect the defense: Youssouf Fofana of Monaco is in the front row, but he would also be on the list Manuel Ugarte, Uruguayan from Paris Saint-Germain already linked to Juventus. And assisted by Jorge Mendes, the same agent as Conceiçao, currently favored over Fonseca and De Zerbi.
