Second transfer from Como to Sassuolo within a few hoursafter Verdi here is the passage in the midfielder’s neroverde Luca Mazzitelli.
Below is the announcement of the purchase of Mazzitelli by Sassuolo: “The US Sassuolo Calcio announces that it has acquired from the Como, with the loan formula until 30 June 2025, the sports performances of the footballer Luca Mazzitelli (midfielder, 1995). Luca returns to neroverde! Born in Rome, and raised in the youth teams of the Giallorossi club, he makes his debut in Serie A in the last race of the 2013/2014 Genoa-Roma championship. He goes on loan to Brescia where he is deployed as a starter, with great regularity, by Roberto Boscaglia. In Serie B two seasons play, a first part in Chiavari and then to Pisa, here it collects 34 appearances and 5 goals becoming an important pivot of the Neroazzurri. In the 2021/2022 season, the midfielder is definitively purchased by Monza, playing the playoffs and conquering Serie A at the end of a ride ended with the victory in the final against Pisa. In the summer of 2022 he was given on loan to Frosinone, in Ciociaria he conquered another championship, this time with Mr. Grosso on the bench, and returns to Serie A with the yellow and blue wearing the captain’s band in the 2023/2024 season. In the summer of 2024 Mazzitelli loaned to Como, where he takes the field 11 times and marks his first goal against Lazio on October 31, 2024.
