THE’Inter is getting ever closer to the creation of a second team, starting next season. According to colleagues of Skythe Nerazzurri club would have resolved one of the main obstacles to the formation ofUnder 23the one relating to the stadium where their young people can play.
Inter in Monza. In particular, the club would have identified the U-Power Stadium in Monza as the facility suited to its needs. The choice is not yet final – all the necessary agreements must be found – and furthermore the issue of training facilities remains, made explicit several times in the past by Inter president Beppe Marotta. But the Inter of the future is starting to take shape.
A fundamental step will take place on January 30, the date of the next Federal Council. Among the topics on the agenda, there is in fact that linked to the participation of second teams in the Serie C championship. At the moment, three teams are participating: Juventus Next Gen in group C, Atalanta Under 23 in group A and Milan Futuro in group B. Placement at group level is also one of the issues to be addressed: avoiding saturating the Lega Pro championship is a need often highlighted by the other participating clubs. However, the good results, both technical and sporting, achieved above all by Juventus – the first to start the project – suggest that we will continue in the same direction. And Inter – already last year at the top of the federal rankings which determine access to the possibility of registering a second team: they gave way to Milan for logistical reasons, but for the Oaktree fund this is now one of the priorities – is ready to take the field.
