ATALANTA-NAPOLI 2-3
Carnesecchi 6 – Not guilty of Napoli’s two goals. For the rest, normal administration
Scalvini 5 – Marking error on Lukaku during the Neapolitans’ third goal. Lukaku moves it regularly and scores too easily. From 83′ Brescianini sv
Hien 6.5 – Very good at marking Lukaku, so much so that the Belgian scores when Scalvini marks him. In the defensive phase he is practically perfect except perhaps for Napoli’s first goal where like the entire Nerazzurri backline they don’t notice Politano only in the area.
Djimsiti 5.5 – Suffering from Neres’ initiatives. He was overtaken by the former Benfica player on the occasion of Politano’s equaliser. In Napoli’s second goal he fails to prevent the Brazilian from heeling Anguissa.
Bellanova 6 – Good when pushing. Late especially in the first half in helping Djimsiti in defense against Neres.
De Roon 5.5 – After following him initially, you miss Politano’s cut which hits the target. He continues to fight in the middle of the pitch despite a knee problem suffered at the end of the first half.
Ederson 5.5 – He is the first to make himself dangerous with a shot from outside. The mistake that kicks off the action for Napoli’s second goal weighs heavily.
Ruggeri 6 – Less present than Bellanova in the offensive zone. However, always focused on the defensive level. From 68′ Zappacosta 6 – He enters the game well and tries with some crosses to put the attackers in a position to score.
Lookman 7 – In the first half hour he is active and often manages to get going to create scoring opportunities and dangerous actions. He fades away, like the whole team, in the second half of the first half. Great play for the goal of the momentary equalizer for Bergamo. From 77′ Zaniolo sv
Samardzic 6 – Like all Atalanta they do better at the start of the first half and at the beginning of the second half. Lacks in being able to free himself for the last pass or shot. From 77′ Pasalic 6 – He tries to head it at the end of the match but doesn’t find the target.
Retegui 7– A sniper. One goal opportunity in the first half. Great left-footed shot from inside the area. In the second half he also tries with his right foot from a tight angle but fails to find the target. From 68′ De Ketelaere 6 – He enters the field well, touching the net with his header as soon as he enters the field following a cross from Bellanova. Meret is very good at denying them the net.
Gian Piero Gasperini 6 – Atalanta started well in both the first and second half, putting Napoli in difficulty. His team loses by an episode, Scalvini’s error in marking on Lukaku which makes it 3-2. Now there are 4 races without a win even if the ranking is still excellent.
