Leipzig have acquired Arthur Vermeeren for all intents and purposes. The German club has enforced the appearance clause established at the time of the loan agreement with Atletico Madrid and today made official the permanent signing of the 19-year-old Belgian midfielder, who has signed until 2029.
Following Leipzig’s announcement, Vermeeren said: “I am very happy to continue being a Rote Bulle in the coming years as well. I felt very comfortable in Leipzig from day one.
