In today’s press conference Vincenzo Italianocoach of Bologna who will face Roma tomorrow, also spoke about the growth of the two Argentines Benjamin Dominguez and Santiago Castro:
How is Dominguez’s growth going?
“I also talked about Benjo during the week. He has changed a lot since he arrived, he has gotten over the change of country and teammates. Now I see him smiling more, he has bonded with many teammates and understands quickly. In the last few games he has gained space, it is the healthy competition that we all want. He has made that leap that we all expected. Being firm on certain aspects and certain ideas sometimes doesn’t pay, so his position will depend on the opponent and the moment external”.
How is Castro after the mistakes in the last game?
“Sometimes we don’t remember that he’s 20 years old… He can make some mistakes, it’s part of his growth. You can miss a penalty, it’s not a problem. The discussion is general, being so young we must never be satisfied and never think that we have arrived, because we grow day after day. In my opinion there is room to grow on the own goal, there we must be more alert because whoever makes up that defensive line must perceive the danger and be ready these days, he like the other young people they have to take care of these aspects. A missed penalty and an own goal will serve as a lesson for them, this is growth in my opinion.”
