Francesco Pio Esposito is the solution that Inter is evaluating to strengthen the attack in view of the next Club World Cup. The center forward born in 2005 who is dragging Spezia to Serie B will return to home base at the end of the season and the intention of the Nerazzurri club is to let him spend another season elsewhere, but in Serie A, before bringing him back definitively to Milan to start from summer 2026.
Before the new loan, however, Esposito could be added to the Nerazzurri group to take part in the Club World Cup which will take place from mid-June to mid-July. This is because the Milanese club has two forwards whose contracts are expiring: Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa and therefore in the United States they could find themselves short in attack. So with the competition underway, Esposito could find himself the fourth striker for Inzaghi’s Inter behind Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Mehdi Taremi.
However, it should be added that precisely because of the Club World Cup, FIFA has given the various federations the opportunity to open a new transfer window from 1st to 10th June. On that occasion, all clubs will have the opportunity to register players to be used from the following days.
