At the beginning of the championship, many gave theEmpoli almost as if it were a goner, but Fabrizio Corsi’s club, for the umpteenth time, has surprised everyone, at least until now. In the period in which the winter transfer window will be open, D’Aversa will have the opportunity to secure survival in the first two matches of 2025, which the Tuscans will play at the Pier Luigi Penzo in Venice on 4 January and at the Castellani Computer Gross Arena a week later late against Lecce. On the other hand, however, if positive results do not arrive, the situation could get complicated because next will come the matches against Inter at San Siro, Bologna at home and Juventus at the Allianz Stadium, three teams that play in the Champions League. For the Azzurri a lot will depend on the performance in the direct clashes, which will inevitably also influence the approach to the following matches.
