Juventus has resumed preparations for Sunday’s match against Fiorentina at 6pm. Yesterday, the Bianconeri worked at Continassa as announced on the Vecchia Signora website: “Juventus on the pitch, on Boxing Day, after the two days of rest granted by Thiago Motta. At the Training Center the Bianconeri have started preparing for the match against Fiorentina. Match, the one against the Tuscans, which will coincide with the eighteenth round of the championship. The team, therefore, carried out a training session in the morning dedicated, after the usual initial warm-up phase, to technique and ball possession, before concluding it with some athletic work.”
Koopmeiners, Douglas Luiz and Danilo try to return for Fiorentina.
Thiago Motta could recover Koopmeiners, Danilo and Douglas Luiz for the championship match against Fiorentina. All three Juventus players continued their work separately yesterday, but there is a cautious optimism about their return to the group. The presence of these three players in the match against the Viola would allow Thiago Motta to have greater choice both in terms of the starting lineup and during the match in progress. Rouhi, Weah and Milik, however, are trying to recover for the Super Cup and will certainly not be available on Sunday against Fiorentina. The injury emergency seems to be slowly reducing and this could perhaps be the best news regarding Juventus, who in this first part of the season have paid a very high bill in terms of absences.
