The triangle yes… but there is a favorite. CDK, what an error of judgment

Now it seems more and more evident. The Scudetto will be, barring unforeseen events or surprises, a three-way discussion: Atalanta, Inter and Napoli. True, the race has just gotten underway but, honestly, these three teams seem to have something more than all the others. Let’s get into the specifics. Atalanta, after winning the Europa League, has acquired even greater awareness of its capabilities. He has a squad of enormous quality and well blended. Gasperini knows perfectly well what strings to touch to make his players perform at their best. In Bergamo everyone is on the same side and they know that, if they want to play, they have to give their best because their coach doesn’t give anyone any discounts. On a physical level, the Goddess is amazing. The dizzying pace of the Nerazzurri is impressive. As if that wasn’t enough, the environment doesn’t put any pressure on the team, on the contrary it supports them every time they take the field.
Atalanta was impressive, just like Inter’s ability to manage matches. The reigning Italian Champions are, without a shadow of a doubt, the team with the best squad. Inzaghi has, in fact, two excellent teams to rely on. One of the very owners, one of the owners. Inter’s best quality is certainly their great ability to never get caught up in the frenzy and always know how to seize the right moment to strike and sink every opponent.

Once upon a time, teams like Inter were labeled as cynical…
Then there is Napoli. Without “European” commitments and already out of the Italian Cup, the Azzurri are focused solely on the championship. Conte has demonstrated, once again, that he is a great motivator, as well as knowing how to prepare each match in the best possible way. The squad is probably not at the level of the other two but, with Conte, anything is possible. If then, in January, some good element were to arrive, watch out for the Neapolitans…
Let’s face it: the triangle is intriguing and, in this case, irresistible. Seeing three teams like Atalanta, Inter and Napoli fighting for the top is the certification that Italian football has returned to very interesting levels. We have excellent teams, top coaches and even some champions to show off.
I don’t know if De Ketelaere is already one but he certainly has all it takes to become one in the future. Paolo Maldini (how long AC Milan are missing) was right. The Belgian is a player with infinite potential that Gasperini is molding as he pleases. He is learning to do many things on the pitch and does them better and better (better to remember that he was born in 2001). However, his most obvious growth is on a character level. Much more “inside the game” than in the recent past. The breaks are fewer and fewer, the important plays are constantly increasing. CDK is a great player and the Devil let him go too smugly. Well, then there are the teams that are struggling… No, no, it’s Christmas, we only talk about beautiful, good and positive topics… Happy Holidays!
