David Luiz leaves Flamengo: the club announces that his contract will not be renewed

The adventure ends David Luiz at Flamengo and at 37 years old it is still unclear what the Brazilian defender wants to do. Meanwhile, the club greeted him, via a post published on social media, with a long message of thanks. On the other hand, the former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain player wrote a page of history with Flamengo, winning the Copa Libertadores as a protagonist. “The Club de Regatas do Flamengo informs that it has decided not to renew the contract of central defender David Luiz. We warmly thank the player for his dedication, professionalism and for his titles with our Manto Sagrado. We wish him much luck and success in his new stage in his career.
