Lecco, fans protest: “Celebrating during the week, you forget the shirt to honor”

“Celebrating during the week… You forget a shirt to honor!”. With this banner displayed outside the Rigamonti Ceppi stadium in Lecco, the Blucelesti fans lashed out against the team which has been mathematically relegated to Serie C for a few weeks now after a championship marked more by external controversies and changes in coach than by from what we saw on the football pitch.

The reference, as reported Leccochannelnewsis at a dinner that took place in the city center last week, between the matches lost respectively against Sampdoria (1 May) and Brescia (5 May), which obviously created discontent in a square that was dreaming of a different first time in Serie B.
