Carnesecchi’s report cards: serial miracles, shutter test in Cagliari

If Atalanta wins the tenth consecutive match and strengthens its lead, much of the credit goes to Marco Carnesecchi. The Nerazzurri goalkeeper, in the away match on the Cagliari pitch, showed off his best performance of the season with a series of miracles that first kept the Dea afloat in a more difficult first half than expected and then allowed them to maintain the lead achieved thanks to Zaniolo’s goal during the recovery.

The opinions of the various newspapers are a triumph of largely positive votes. The Corriere dello Sport and the Corriere della Sera they even give 9, while La Gazzetta dello Sport he opts for 8.5 and writes: “Three monstrous saves one after the other, another three not easy ones on Piccoli, Mina and Pavoletti. He rejoices as if he had scored: it’s as if”.

The most popular rating is 7.5, given by TMW which was followed by the following judgement: “A real wall, who kept his team afloat in the first half with four great saves. He completed his crazy performance with a couple of decisive interventions in the second half too.” Also agree on the numerical voting Tuttosport And The Republic.
