Venice, Di Francesco: “Two points lost, certain details can no longer be mistaken”

The Venezia coach Eusebio Di Francesco spoke to the microphones of Skyafter the 2-2 away draw at Juventus.

Is there more pleasure or disappointment?
“Personally, last year in Turin I lost it in the 90th minute, today I equalised. I think they are two points lost, we had no malice and we should have managed the ball better on the corner kick which then leads to the episode about the penalty. I’m sorry, because we have to take home a match like this and we would have deserved it for what we showed, however, it’s only our fault.”

How much can you improve mischief?
“If we think about these small episodes, sometimes they can even turn out well. In the final on the corner it was our ball, you have to have certain things. You have to understand that the ball must never go back to the other side. I’m not saying do a foul, but a minimum of malice. The company recognizes that there is work behind it and there is growth, but these details are missing that can no longer be mistaken.”

You’ve been feeling bad for too long.
“I deserve it, I will go to Sant’Antonio which is near Padua. I don’t like to attach myself to luck and luck, a team that isn’t there won’t perform like this.”

Better against the big teams?
“We also did well against Lecce and Parma, not just the big ones. We should have made better use of our chances against teams within our reach. We are paying for this naivety.”
