11.00 – The press conference begins Alessandro Nesta

Nesta, what is missing from your Monza at the moment?

There’s a piece missing, we still have to recover players. It always seems like little is missing but something great is just missing. The team has shown that they have the possibilities but then they have to take the losses home. The alibis? I never looked for them and never gave them to the team. I know the next games are difficult but personally I’m going my own way. I’m not looking for alibis and I’m not looking for anything.”

Have you started planning the January transfer window to strengthen the team?

“We can improve, we will have to do something. We are talking about it. When serious injuries like the one that happened to Gagliardini happen we have to think about it. Monza has some gaps, but like all teams.”

Have you thought about the formation choices made in Bologna in the Italian Cup?

“I made some very risky choices because I need as many players as possible available. The 4-0 result hurts everyone, we thought Bologna would make more rotations. This defeat bothered everyone. The fans who arrived at Monzello? They are they came and encouraged us, it was nice. Our sports center is open to everyone. In all the places I have been, fans have always been able to come in, it’s different here but nobody has to hide anything.
