The Women’s Serie A starts again this evening and will experience its highlight on Sunday afternoon with the Milan derby which will be played, for the first time in history, at San Siro in a crowd that is hoping for great occasions and which could set a new record in our football.
The ball will be opened by Roma, who will then be involved in a decisive Champions League match in Wolfbsurg on Wednesday, which will challenge a Como team that aims to enter the top five in view of the second phase of the championship.
On Saturday, however, the direct clash for survival between a growing Sassuolo and Napoli Femminile will take place: two teams tied at six points and aiming for success to further distance themselves from the last place occupied by a Sampdoria who will be called upon to perform super to try to snatch points from a Fiorentina who are third and who don’t want to lose ground against Inter and Juventus, nor risk overtaking Roma. To close the round, in addition to the Milan-Inter derby, there is Juventus who will face a difficult Lazio in search of points so as not to be sucked into the hot zone of the standings.
