Serie B, Mantua-Modena: Possanzini and Mandelli looking for continuity in the derby

After Friday’s advance match between Reggiana and Sassuolo, another five Serie B matches will take to the field today. Among these, the last in chronological order having been scheduled for 5.15pm, is Mantua-Modena. A derby, despite the two teams coming neither from the same city nor from the same region, deeply felt by both fans, so much so that the Danilo Martelli is expected to be sold-out. Both the Virgilians and the Canaries have scored 4 points, a win and a draw, in the last two matches and are looking for continuity. The match will be refereed by Mr. Marco Piccinini from the Forlì section.

HOW THE MANTOVA GET THERE
The Virgilians want to make the Martelli factor count given that, at the start of the season, they have never lost in the championship at home. To beat the Emilian team, Possanzini will once again rely on the 4-2-3-1 with the usual Festa between the posts. In defense, without Cella suspended, the central pair will be made up of Brignani and one of Redolfi, who needs to check his condition due to a knee contusion, and De Maio. On the outside, however, Solini and Radaelli should be confirmed. In midfield, next to Trimboli, there will be Burrai, returning from disqualification for receiving yellow cards, while the trident behind the first striker should be made up of Aramu, Bragantini and Fiori. Ballot for the center forward role between Mensah and Mancuso, with the latter who could also act as an attacking midfielder as in Catanzaro.

HOW MODENA GET THERE
The Canaries arrive at this match two points behind Mantova in the standings and with the ambition of distancing themselves from the play-out zone. Since the team passed into the hands of Mandelli, the yellow and blue have achieved a victory, against Carrarese, and a draw, last week against Cosenza. In Mantua Mandelli will return, ahead of the confirmed Gagno, to the four-man defense which will be made up of Di Pardo on the right, Idrissi on the left and Caldara Dellavalle as the central pair. Three-man midfield entrusted to Gerli as director, with, given the disqualification of Santoro, Battistella and Magnino on his sides. In front, behind one of Pedro Mendes, returning from injury, and Gliozzi, there will be Palumbo and Caso.
