Giuseppe Vives, former Torino midfielderspoke in view of the match that awaits the Granata against Napoli at the Serie A weekend, to the microphones of Radio Napoli Centrale: “I have lived with Torino for many years and it is wonderful how the Granata fans breathe football. I’m sorry to see Torino in difficulty at this stage.”
How do you see Turin-Naples?
“The Granata are not in the best moment, but I’m sure that Napoli won’t have an easy life. I’m going through a period of reflection, it’s terrible to always hear about tragedies. I live with the kids thanks to the football school and I’m increasingly convinced that the we adults are the cause of everything. We often don’t respect the rules that allow us to live together. Even today I see fathers fighting in the stands for one too many words or an unallowed foul, all in front of young children. It’s incomprehensible, everything that happens it’s just guilt ours. The education of a child cannot depend on just one person. First of all there must be the parents, then the school and football must do everything to best consolidate their growth. Unfortunately I see more and more parents who are unable to set a good example. If a professional is doing his job I certainly don’t tell him what to do, for example if I call the electrician I trust him, I don’t tell him where to put the cables. Many parents still can’t understand it.”
What are your thoughts on Napoli?
“It is not yet the team imagined by Conte, but I see a wonderful team spirit. It has all it takes to remain at the top. I believe that Neres never plays with Kvara because Politano is too important for the balance of the team. We will see them act together when needed.”
