Pillar of the future or maxi-capital gain? Bayern on Bisseck: ball goes to Inter in the summer

The ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ on newsstands today takes stock of Yann Aurel Bisseck’s future. The German defender who landed in Milan in the summer of 2023 has permanently entered Simone Inzaghi’s rotation this year and now that Pavard has been injured he will be a regular starter. The French footballer will have it for about a month and the former Aarhus defender will be deployed in his place at least until the end of the calendar year. After a season of apprenticeship, Bisseck has fully entered the good graces of his coach, but he has not gone unnoticed elsewhere either.

Paid 7.2 million euros, today the Cologne school footballer is worth much more and has attracted the attention of many European clubs. Inter know this well and in the summer they refused 25 million euros from West Ham to continue the relationship with the player born in 2000 and recently renewed his contract until 30 June 2029. At the end of the season, however, watch out for the Bayern Munich’s assault: Germany’s most famous club could go crazy for the German centre-back and at that point it will be up to Inter to decide whether to make Bisseck a maxi-capital gainer or a pillar of the team to come.

Recently coach Simone Inzaghi expressed himself as follows about Bisseck: “Bisseck is a player who deserved the space and everything he got with his work, he came from a different league, the Danish one, and he was good at understanding our game principles, at learning Italian. He has immediately tried to understand everything we asked of him: he must continue like this, he is constantly improving and I am happy for him”, he said.
