What does it mean to be a captain?
“Being captain means always putting the good of the team first, leading by example and demonstrating what you preach on the field.”
On meritocracy and the growth of Italian women’s football…
“Not everything is always perfect, but Italian women’s football is an example of how merit can take you far, even beyond difficulties. When I started playing, for example, the idea of becoming a professional didn’t exist, and I put the fun of practicing this sport first.”
Would you have liked to play more abroad?
“Abroad tests you and makes you grow, every experience has enriched me, because putting yourself to the test is always the most important thing”.
