The Lazio defender Adam Marusic spoke to Sky Sports ahead of tomorrow’s match against Ludogorets in the Europa League. This is the thought of those outside the broadcaster:
After the difficulties of recent years, Lazio is also tackling the Europa League at its best…
“This year we are also doing well in Europe, as well as in the championship. Thanks also to the new players and to the coach who has changed some things, the players always want to give their best and have a lot of freedom over the game. I am happy, after so many years done well in the league, now we are also going strong in the Europa League and we will try to get as far as possible.”
Did you expect this sprint start both in Italy and in Europe after the many summer changes between excellent transfers and young signings?
“We made some big changes after last season, many new guys and the new coach arrived. I thought it would take more time, but we are doing well since the first game and we can only grow by continuing to work.”
What do you think of Ludogorets?
“We are playing at home against our fans, it will be very important for us. A team that is doing well, not to be underestimated, with strong players. I follow Bulgarian football, we will have to give everything, rotate the ball well and so we can win tomorrow.”
