Okafor’s report cards: a ghost. He walks, he’s distracted and he doesn’t do anything right

He was the most awaited because he took the place of Leao, Noah Okafor he was also the most negative in Bratislava in the 3-2 of Milan against Slovan. For La Gazzetta dello Sport is a 5: “He starts and looks for one-on-ones without breaking through. Some successful dribbling without making the decisive play. Out at the end of the first half.” Same vote for TMW: “He puts Leao back on the bench, it’s his chance to restore uncertainty to the hierarchies. A missed opportunity, however: only involved at times, in situations where he could have an impact he never manages to do so.” However, the Corriere dello Sportwho gives him a 4: “He should have rested Leao, but Rafa comes on at the start of the second half because he doesn’t make a right one: he never skips the man and doesn’t come back properly.”

The substance doesn’t change either Tuttosportwho beat him with a 4.5: “The one in Bratislava was an exam. Not only did he fail it, but he made everyone agree on his current inconsistency”. The Corriere della Sera he motivates the 4 like this: “From the great chance to the great flop. He walks for a while, slow and distracted, until Fonseca decides that he has had enough. A ghost, one of those who aren’t scary.” Finally it is 4.5 per MilanNews: “Against such an opponent one would have expected a display of greater personality. Instead, apart from a few double steps as an end in themselves, he doesn’t get a channel on the left-handed frequencies with Theo Hernandez. He remains in the locker room at half-time.”
