Milan, Fonseca: “No one wants to win more than me, the three points are too important”

Paulo Fonsecacoach of Milangave an interview to Sky Sports shortly before the challenge of Champions League scheduled this evening at the home of Slovan Bratislava:

Is this team the best to win tonight?

“We have many matches, the players have also played matches for the national team and we must manage always thinking about winning the match. I’m the first to want to win, I don’t think anyone wants to win more than me. I chose a team that I think can win here in Bratislava.”

What did you say to the team after the match against Juventus?

“We talked about the match but we have to understand that playing against Juventus is something very specific. Today will be a different match, we must respect the opponent and think that these three points are important. Florenzi said that the victory in Madrid will only make sense if we win here. This is the spirit that I like and want to see.”

Can Milan aspire to a place in the top eight?

“We have to think from game to game but today it is important to win. If we don’t win here we don’t care about the other games. It’s the most important. Now we have to think about the Champions League. We need these three points. I think the games are all different, but the points are the same. We must look for the motivation to always get the three points.”
