Empoli and Udinese don’t get hurt. 1-1 at Castellani and the rankings are smiling

Pietro Pellegri first and then Keinan Davis. Empoli and Udinese drew 1-1 and shared the stakes, after a match which saw the home team deserve it in the first half and the Friulians capable of reacting in the second half.

D’Aversa’s words.
“I’m satisfied with the result but not fully. We had a team in front of us that had a lot of ball possession, in the first half we were good at not conceding anything to a strong team that made life difficult for Atalanta. When you draw you don’t there is never total satisfaction, but I have to congratulate the boys because Udinese was so dominant from a physical point of view.”

Runjaic’s words.
“I’m not entirely happy with the performance, but I am with the result. The team has grown with the changes, we need to work. The possible penalty? You’re lucky that Gianluca Nani wasn’t here. Something similar happened to us in Venice, I respect the referee’s decision but evidently there are different rules between Tuscany and Venice.”

The ranking smiles on both Empoli and Udinese, ninth and tenth respectively in Serie A.
