Antonino Gallo, defender of Lecce, gave an interview to DAZN after the victory achieved against Venezia:
Were you more confident after the changes?
“In the first half we struggled, we couldn’t play the ball. In the second half we pushed harder, creating scoring opportunities and taking advantage of them. Venezia were very unlucky, if they had scored in the first half the second half would have been more difficult.”
What stopped you?
“At the end of the first half we said to ourselves that we couldn’t play with fear. We had to play with personality, it’s not in our skills to play with fear.”
What does this result give you?
“This result gives us awareness, we have to play like this. Now Juventus awaits us but these matches must be approached with the right mentality because you always play against a great team
