Aston Villa have also targeted Zirkzee. Manchester United, however, would prefer to send him to Italy

Joshua Zirkzee continues to have problems adapting to Albion (23 years old). The striker born in 2001 was one of Manchester United’s big hits in the last summer transfer window, but after making an impact in the first minutes of his new adventure, something went wrong and the former Bologna player, who wore the shirt of rossoblù of Serie A was among the best in the entire Italian championship, is now struggling to find its space in the United world.

Yesterday the Red Devils officially started the new course with Ruben Amorim on the bench. And in the 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town, Zirkzee once again started from the bench, then coming on for 22 minutes towards the end of the match. An unpleasant situation for the striker born in 2001, who arrived in England with very different thoughts on his chances of leaving a mark in the richest and most watched tournament in the world.

In the January transfer window, Zirkzee can therefore already leave Manchester and, among the various plausible destinations, it is also an idea for Juventus. The player would have asked his entourage if he wanted to return to the Italian championship and the Juventus club would be a welcome destination in his eyes, given that he would also find Thiago Motta again who is the coach with whom he went best. According to Caught Offside, Zirkzee has also ended up in the sights of Aston Villa (curiously Juventus’ next opponent in the Champions League) for the winter. Manchester United, however, would prefer the sale to Italy, and in this respect the Juventus club would therefore be favoured.
