Como-Fiorentina 0-2, the report cards: Adli surprises Audero, De Gea remembers why he is the best

Final result: Como – Fiorentina 0-2

COMO (edited by Samuele Fontanelli)

Audero 5 – Not flawless on Adli’s goal. The Frenchman kicks hard but the ball passes under his body. He can do nothing about Kean’s goal but the error weighs on the lily lead.

Goldaniga 5 – Gosens, Bove and Sottil often manage to get to the cross on his side. In both goals the actions originate from his side. He comes close to scoring in the second half, well done De Gea.

Dossena 5 – He has the most difficult task: marking Moise Kean. In the end he gets nervous and gets an avoidable red.

Beard 5 – Too soft in his marking on Kean during the Viola’s lead. Going forward he made his mark with a header that went high in the first half and in the second half De Gea denied him a goal.
From 79′ Jack sv

Room 5.5 – He suffers from Dodo’s speed which often puts him in difficulty on that side.
From 46′ Iovine – He enters the pitch well and serves an excellent ball to Cutrone who heads just over the crossbar.

Engelhardt 5.5 – A few too many inaccuracies during the support and construction phase. From 80′ Verdi sv

From Cunha 6 – More precise than his teammate. He gives everything during the race so much so that in the end he comes out due to cramps. From 86′ Braunoder sv

Fadera 5.5 – He tries to create chances but is confusing in his actions. It stands out more in the first half, while in the second half it fades away as time passes. From 79′ Belotti sv

Nico Paz 6 – He’s nervous and gets a warning but there’s no doubt that the Como team’s best opportunities come from his feet. He shows his qualities with excellent plays. Less incisive in the second half.

A.Moreno 5.5 – He focuses to create play but we don’t see much in the first half. At the start of the second half he gets to the back to cross on a few occasions but too little.

Cutrone 6 – He fights with Comuzzo and Ranieri, he moves and becomes dangerous both with acrobatics in the first half and with his head in the second half. As captain he is the last to give up.

Cesc Fabregas 5.5 – His Como suffers in the first half. Fiorentina creates more chances. In the second half his team started well trying to equalize but Kean found the second. In the end the result was perhaps too severe.

FLORENTINA (edited by Dimitri Conti)

De Gea 7 – An uncertainty in the first half gives shivers to his teammates, but in the second half it reminds us why he is considered the best goalkeeper in Serie A.

Dodo 6.5 – Piston of the right wing, he goes back and forth without any interruption. Then, tired from returning from Brazil, he has to go out.
From 81′ Kayode sv.

Comuzzo 6 – Careful start, even if it happens not so rarely that Cutrone manages to free himself from his marking. But without causing any damage.

Ranieri 6 – Armband, he is taking on more and more importance in the team’s logic. In Como he simply never finds himself in crisis.
From 81′ Pongracic sv.

Gosens 6.5 – Indisputable master of the left flank, his contribution is present and clearly distinguishable both when it comes to attacking and in the defensive phase.

Cataldi 6 – Having overcome the pre-break physical problem, he regains a place among the starters. He stays inside for less than an hour: he is attentive, clean and essential.
From 56′ Thin 6.5 – When Palladino gets him off the bench he asks him to change the score of the match. No sooner said than done: the assist for Kean was his.

Adli 7.5 – Como’s victory, in large part, comes from him. Not only does he score the 0-1 on goal, with the help of Audero, but he also starts the action of the two.

Colpani 5.5 – Very loyal to Palladino, as per Monza tradition he was however among the first to leave the field. And this time without having been able to do much.
From 66′ Ikone 5.5 – Quite lively in pushing towards Audero’s goal, however when he gets close he always ends up making mistakes.

Beltran 6.5 – Candidate for the role of ideal partner for Kean, this time however his assist is destined for Adli. As long as he is on the pitch he moves well as a link-up.
From 66′ Martinez Fourth 6 – He enters and Fiorentina switches to three in defence. A few seconds and the 0-2 goal makes his and the others’ task easier.

Ox 6 – He is increasingly fitting into the tactical wing suit: Sinigaglia lacks a bit in terms of quality but makes up for it with quantity.

Kean 7 – A little out of the game for the entire first half, he seems to suffer in the grip of the Como defenders. Until the good ball arrives and hits.

Raffaele Palladino 7 – He wants to extend his winning streak in the championship and doesn’t offer any lineup surprises. Fiorentina didn’t start strong straight away but still struck at the first opportunity, finishing ahead in the 45th minute. In the second half he then changed formation, reaping the reward of doubling his lead in just a few moments. Lots of good moves, again.
