Stanislav Lobotka, the architect of the Napoli midfield. In summer it can be healthy

Is this Stanislav Lobotka’s last year at Napoli? A question that does not have a clear answer, but it is certain that all offers received will be evaluated in the summer. In particular Barcelona, who followed him first with Xavi, now with Hansi Flick: the coach thinks that the Slovakian could be the perfect addition to their midfield, with the Azzurri no longer considering him irreplaceable. Or rather, it is the last year to maximize a possible sale: it has a deadline that is still very far away and the valuation is high, between 30 and 40 million euros. In that case Napoli would modernize the midfield, even without their own architect.

Over the years there have been many interests, from Manchester City to Bayern Munich. They never became concrete and Lobotka himself explained more than once that he was staying at Maradona.

Last June the Bratislava agent Jarusek had thus ruled out his possible transfer. “Staying in Naples is the most likely option for now. The club will not sell one of its best players for a low fee. Various coaches have looked for him and I am still talking to some of them, but it depends on the clubs.” A situation that could change completely in the summer of 2025. Stanislav Lobotka turns 30 today.
