Champions League, the Italian referees for Tuesday: Spanish and Portuguese for Milan and Inter

UEFA has announced the referees appointed for Tuesday’s Champions League matches for the Italian teams. On the first day of the 5th round of the championship phase of the top European club competition, AC Milan take to the field representing Serie A, opening the proceedings at 6.45pm, and then Atalanta and Inter in the evening slot at 9pm.

An all-Spanish team will referee Milan in Bratislava, directed by Mr. Sanchez assisted in VAR by Del Cerro Grande. Lithuanian whistle, Lukjancukas, and Dutch VAR, Ruperti, for the Atalanta match played in Bern on the Young Boys pitch. Finally, Inter against Leipzig will be managed by a team of Portuguese referees, led by Mr Pinheiro on the pitch and by Tiago Martins in the VAR room.
