Lecce enriches the staff available to the new coach Marco Giampaolo with the inclusion of a new athletic trainer, Cristian Mancowhich comes from a Serie C reality like Gelbison. In fact, we read in a short note issued by the Salento Giallorossi: “US Lecce announces the inclusion of Cristian Manco in the Technical Staff of the First Team, under the orders of Mr. Marco Giampaolo, as athletic trainer”.
Gelbison greeted Manco’s farewell with this note: “Gelbison is pleased to announce that the athletic trainer Cristian Manco, active in the club since the 2023/2024 season, has accepted the invitation of Mister Marco Giampaolo, new coach of Lecce. Cristian Manco, therefore, is transferred from Gelbison directly in Serie A. The athletic trainer’s move to the top flight of Italian football was welcomed with enthusiasm by the entire Gelbison team, who wishes Manco the best of luck.”
President Maurizio Puglisi then added: “What characterizes the choices relating to the composition of the Gelbison staff is always oriented in the direction of excellence. We try to provide the club with the quality necessary to aspire to important results. Cristian Manco certainly falls into the category of those excellences, because right from the start he stood out for his exemplary work and his ability to implement new technologies in the processes linked to the athletic training of footballers. This leap to Serie A doesn’t surprise me, more than anything else it excites me, from a human point of view me makes us proud, because it is direct testimony to the commitment that is made every day to guarantee the best for Gelbison. I wish Cristian the best for his professional future.”
