Leao’s report cards: the pre-Madrid one is back, very few ideas from him

Milan’s ups and downs continue, in line with those of Rafael Leao. After the great performances against Real Madrid and Cagliari, he returned to being unconvincing in the big match against Juventus.

For no newspaper does it deserve a passing grade. The most severe in this sense is Tuttosport, which gives him 5: “There were many expectations, after the excellent performances offered in the national team, the nice words of coach Martinez and yet another support from Ibrahimovic shortly before the match. The result was once again disarming because, faced with an opponent who was not at his best in terms of personnel and historical moment, the Portuguese was never incisive, even receiving an (excessive) warning for protests and when he could have sought the conclusion himself (11′ st) chases an unlikely support to Reijnders, who gets lost in the area.”

For the rest, slight inadequacies, like that of TMW: “Soft, slow, at times he seems listless. He only lights up in flashes like when Milan complains about the contact between the Portuguese and Savona around 70′: according to Mr. Chiffi there are no However, they are the extremes for the penalty kick. The duel with Savona unexpectedly goes to Juve’s class of 2003.”
