Thuram’s report cards: king of multiple goals, increasingly Inter striker

With Lautaro absent due to fever, Marcus Thuram takes the stage and drags Inter to a clear victory on the Verona pitch. Two goals for the French striker, no stranger to multiple goals at the start of the season. In a year in which the Bull is missing more than usual, the former Gladbach player is finding the door as never before in his career.

His ratings in the main sports newspapers can only be largely positive. The highest are from Corriere dello Sport which – exactly like La Repubblica – awarded him with an 8.5 and gave the following rating: “Double of goals and assists. The agreement with Correa was born spontaneously, he puts his power into it, Argentinian grace. The two goals he scores are almost identical, they end with dribbling on Montipò.”

8 instead in all the other report cards, the evaluation of TMW is worth mentioning: “The king of multiple goals. He gives himself another brace, scoring the two goals that put the game on the right track. Literally irrepressible when he runs, when he fights, when defends the ball. The best on the pitch.”
