Simone InzaghiInter coach, spoke to the microphones of DAZN a few minutes before the championship match against Hellas Verona: “After the break there’s always a bit of fear, it’s normal for this to be the case. On average, coaching Inter we have 15-18 players in the national team, so it’s not easy train and prepare in the right way, even for today’s match I tried to choose more players who remained training at Pinetina, those who remained only trained in the last 48 hours but I saw them well. Today we know we have to do an excellent match.”
Is there a Zielinski-Asllani runoff?
“There has never been a run-off between them, Asllani is our player in that role in which we have so much confidence. Unfortunately in the last matches before the break when Calhanoglu was injured in Rome, he had a bad knee sprain and is returned these days. He played two excellent matches with his national team, I see him ready: he is a player in whom I believe a lot and I am sure he will have a great match.”
Big chance for Correa?
“I think he deserved it, he has been working very well since July, he knows he has a lot of competition in attack but he would have played regardless of whether Lautaro was present or not. He deserved this chance and he will play it in the best way possible.”
