New “defeat” for Paris Saint-Germain in the financial controversy with Kylian Mbappe. The capital club, after the decisions in favor of the player taken by the courts of the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), had decided to bring the matter before the Higher Appeals Commission, placed under the aegis of the French Football Federation. According to information reported by the major transalpine media, the FFF has also rejected this request and confirms the obligation to pay 55 million to the player.
The striker currently playing for Real Madrid is asking for 55 million euros in unpaid wages and other bonuses from the capital club; the LFP legal commission had recommended mediation in September but, faced with the player’s refusal, immediately decided to ask PSG to pay this sum within a week. PSG then lodged an appeal, which was examined in mid-October and which confirmed the first decision, condemning the club to pay the entire amount.
PSG refused and, faced with a possible appeal by Mbappé before the labor court, had two final appeals before the football authorities: an application to bring the matter before the higher appeal commission, placed under the aegis of the FFF, and an appeal before an administrative court for the purposes of conciliation before the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF). Now only this last path remains to be taken.
PSG has already decided to take up the matter of their financial dispute with Mbappé before the executive committee of the FFF, after favorable decisions to the player before the LFP.
