Nasser Al-Khelaifipresident of PSG, spoke on Rothen’s podcast on RMC Sportsalso spoke about the stadium issue:
“I really like the Parc des Princes, everyone likes it. If I listen to my heart we won’t leave. But in Europe everyone has stadiums with 80,000, 90,000 seats… We need it, otherwise we’re dead. Yes, we’re in France , but also in Europe, it is a question of life and death. For us we need a stadium ready in 3-4 years, we have no time to waste, otherwise we are behind other clubs in Europe the fastest possible”.
What’s the next step?
“We have some options. We need to build the new stadium as quickly as possible to reach the level we want.”
How do you rate PSG’s performance this season?
“I am very proud of my team, we play football, we have an identity, we play offensively. It takes time, we are not in a hurry. I speak with the coach and Luis Campos, we are happy with our strategy. If we lose, we don’t change nothing. Look at our team, it’s young, it needs experience.”
