Julian Álvarez he was a starter in the two matches played by the Argentine national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Despite his less than unforgettable performances, the Atletico forward still ended up on the cover: some media attributed him to a flirtation with the former porn actress Mia Khalifa. The latter, however, denied these rumors on social media.
The 31-year-old model and entrepreneur, originally from Lebanon, while not directly mentioning Alvarez, assured that there is no relationship and also explained why she would never date the former Manchester City player: “Just to clarify things: I don’t date anyone, and if I did, it definitely wouldn’t be with someone who isn’t old enough to remember where 9/11 was.”
The reference is obviously to the attack on the Twin Towers in New York, which occurred on 11 September 2001. The footballer who grew up in River’s youth team was born on 31 January 2000 and was just under two years old at the time: this is why he couldn’t never have memories of the terrorist attack that shocked the United States and the world.
