Salernitana, Tongya subjected to further medical examinations: the point on the Granata infirmary

After the break due to the national teams, Serie B is close to returning to the field, with the Salernitana who is preparing the challenge against Sassuolovalid for the 14th day of the cadet championship. As the club’s official channels say, “the heavy downpour did not slow down Stefano Colantuono’s team, which trained this afternoon at the ‘Arechi’ stadium. The Granata suffered a defeat with Luca Fusco’s Primavera team, who it ended with a score of 4-0. Daniele Verde and Szymon Wlodarczyk scored a brace each.”

Obviously the infirmary must be monitored: Lilian Njoh and Nicola Dalmonte did not take part in the session, due to respective muscle strains which will be evaluated in the next few hours, while captain Luigi Sepe trained separately with the goalkeeping coachDi Sarno. Giulio Maggiore instead worked in the gym and then did physiotherapy, Ernesto Torregrossa continued his personalized recovery path. Continuing the discomfort in his ankle after the severe contusion-sprain trauma suffered against Cesena, Franco Tongya underwent a specialist visit in recent days which led to a further period of personalized work to strengthen the joint. Finally, Ajdin Hrustic is still absent, on his way back after commitments with the Australian national team.

It should be remembered that the Granata team will return to training tomorrow morning at 10:30 at the ‘Mary Rosy’ sports centre, in a session that will precede the departure towards Emilia.
