Claudio Marchisioformer Juventus footballer and Head of Competition of the Kings League Italy, spoke on the sidelines of the presentation of the Italian edition of the competition created by Gerard Piqué. These are his statements collected by TMW and from the other media present on the new Juventus of mister Thiago Motta and on the possible return to the field of Francesco Totti:

On the Serie A championship: “I didn’t expect it, the current ranking is reminiscent of the 7 sisters championship. We are witnessing a fun and exciting championship.”

On Milan-Juve: “It will be a great match, two teams will face each other who both arrive at a good moment. There are important points up for grabs, the standings are very short at the moment and we can’t lose along the way. In my opinion, who will be better at not losing points from now until Christmas will then benefit in 2025.”

On Thiago Motta’s Juventus: “We are seeing various faces of the new Juve, more positive than negative. It is a year of change for the new ideology brought by the coach and also for the players. Juve has suffered major injuries at the start, we will see how it goes forward from here to the market.”

On Totti’s possible return to the pitch and whether he would play again: “I don’t know how you can get back on the pitch after so many years after you stopped playing. Then it’s clear… Who wouldn’t want to get back on the pitch? But in my opinion it’s right to leave room for the youngsters.”

On the Milan-Juve match at individual level: “Between Di Gregorio and Maignan I choose Di Gregorio, between Cambiaso and Theo I say Cambiaso, between Reijnders and Koopmeiners I say Reijnders, between Yildiz and Leao I say Yildiz, between Vlahovic and Morata I say Morata”.
